I have been quite lazy recently & even left my scrapbooks lying around half done in the living room for close to ...3 months? I havn't been able to complete my project if Chloe is constantly bugging me to play with her or carry her in the house. Some kind of excuse maybe..yeah I admit it. I am just plain LAZY at times :P

I Am A Toys 'R' Us Kid
I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys 'R' Us kid,
There's a million toys at Toys 'R' Us dat I can play with!
More bikes, more trains, more video games,
it's the biggest toy store there is!
I don't want to grow up, because then if I did,
I wouldn't be a Toys 'R' Us kid!
Remember the times when I was little, I love to sing to the tune of the Toys 'R'Us Song, it's so catchy & it's still is to me now :)
What never got my attention before in the stores before I had Chloe now has a different effect on me. I would scan thru store brochures, newspaper ads & email notifications for any toy sales coming up! Mad? ya sorta...nearly went berserk grabbing toys at the recent toy fair that I went with Pete. Cheap? I would think so. Prices are slashed up to 30-60% off. I don't think I will buy any toy for Chloe if the price is steep or if it costs more than thirty bucks :P
My loots from the Sale recently? A cottage tent $34, FP Doodle Pro $30, Vtech laptop $25, Mini Mouse vacuum cleaner $20 & Medical Trolley $20.
My most expensive toy to date for Chloe is a Fisher Price kitchen set @ $96.60 (Usual Price $119.90). I kept insisting to Pete that she can play with this till she is 5 yrs old. So, it's value for money. Followed by Dora the Explorer Aquadoodle ($70+) bought online together with the forum mummies, mini mouse fridge $39.95.
Guess the next best thing to do is to invite Chloe's friends for tea & have a jolly good time!

I Can Walk
@ Age 14 months, Chloe can finally walk on her own
It has been only 2 weeks since Pete & I witness Chloe walking on her own. Since then she has made drastic improvements. She can walk up to 40 little steps on her own! Although she walks like a penguin most of the time, Pete & I feel so excited for her. We even got her a knee pad to prevent her from getting ugly bruises from falling down. Everytime she sees us open the door, she will point to her shoes & gestures to us that she wants to go GAI GAI..she will sit patiently with me till I put on her shoes for her & she is raring to go.
This is taken last Saturday outside Rasa Sentosa.

Sentosa - Family Jamboree
It's Singapore's Family Day 08. Although the sun was scorching hot, Pete & I decided to spend our Saturday afternoon at Sentosa.
Before we headed for our destination, Pete & I nursed our hungry tummies by hopping from SUBWAY to KFC fastfood restaurants :P Chloe had a taste of the oven baked Oregano Parmesan bread that daddy is having + small bites of KFC whipped potato (yes yes I remembered to scrap off the MSG loaded sauce!!).
Chloe @ KFC Harbourfront waiting for mummy to serve her
Our afternoon were spent walking leisurely along the Siloso Beach while Chloe takes her afternoon nap. We had icecream & watched the people go by. I must say this sunny island has been transformed into a very popular tourist attraction over the years.
We ended our day at the musical fountain watching the wonderful display of sounds, lights & special effects laser & water jets dancing in the wind.

Concert In The Park
We spent our Sunday evening at Bishan Park with my sis, Ian & Remie. This concert was organised by the National Park Board & it was my first time watching a concert by the park despite staying so close to Bishan Park.
We chose a spot near the shady trees & settled ourselves down on the grass patch. I munched nonstop on the chilled water chestnut that I brought along in the sweltering heat while watching the people going by. There were kids drawing in deep concentration , old folks on wheelchairs & mostly families with children enjoying their family time together. Pete brought Chloe to watch the dogs running around the enclosure while Ian went with his mummy for some doodling at a nearby tent.
Overall it was a relaxing Sunday evening. I enjoyed the time spent outdoors instead of the usual window shopping in the malls.

The Gentleman I met at the Library
After lunch on Sunday, Pete & I brought Chloe to the library. Upon reaching the library, Chloe was thrilled to the max not because there was a wide variety of books for her to read but more so to the space she has available for her to crawl around!! It's quite a sight when you see a little girl in a pretty dress climbing up & down the chairs & the steps & OVER THE SHELVES! The library became her playground :(
There she met a cute little boy who seemed to like my little girl at the first sight :P Pete & I had fun watching the little boy's gestures towards my girl. Everywhere my little monster goes, the boy will follow. At some point in time, he would place his little hands on her back as if he is guiding her along.

母亲节
Today is the 2nd time I spend Mother's Day after the birth of Chloe. I can vividly remember I was still breastfeeding Chloe then...how time flies. We started the day early getting Chloe ready before meeting Mom in law & Andrew (Pete's brother) for lunch @ Han Sang Korean Restaurant. We even managed to steal some time to go to the wet market for some light breakfast & bought frog legs for Chloe's porridge for the week.
Lunch was relaxing & I am glad cos it is always hectic for me at work. I get to catch up with my loved ones & relax while Chloe naps on her stroller.
Ginseng Chicken Soup
Korean BBQ
Korean Hot Pot

When Chloe goes round n round
Daddy bought Chloe a vcd to watch recently. It's the ever popular 'The Wheels On The Bus'. Chloe enjoys the colourful animation & the music on the vcd very much. She would beem with delight everytime we on the program for her.
We noticed recently that she would 'dance on her butt' everytime the music is up. She would start rotating happily on the floor turning & turning round & round till the music stops. We were delighted to see her enjoying the music so much that daddy actually rewind the program again & again to watch Chloe dance. To our anticipation of cos, she started going clock wise till the music stops !
Her favourite song now is Incy Wincy Spider & The Wheels on the Bus.
This is so funny to watch!
