National Day Celebrations

By the time we arrived at the Merlion, it was already close to 3.30pm. Seas of red were already seen from afar. We chose our spot & settled down with the company of the kids & of cos umbrella for shelter. With curry, beehoon (leftovers from last night!) & some tidbits, we spent the evening catching 'LIVE' views from the floating stage opposite.

House Warming

8/8 was definitely a busy day for us. It was tiring but most enjoyable day especially when close relatives were here at my new place. My best pals like Esther & Jared, Lynette & Jaren, Jolene, Edward & Megan, Tricia & Baby Udelle & Richard came. Not forgetting my colleagues, Boon Eng & hubby, Pauline & family, Alexis, Jess, Rachel & Jo, Mint & Rohana.

My only regret is that my dad did not come & that I did not spend enough time with my guests.

Chloe Singing the National Anthem

1,2, 3 Go!

Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

Snapped these 2 pictures this morning when Chloe is playing with the miniature flag.
It's Singapore's birthday again. I remembered last year on this day, we were at esplanade watching the fighter plane display.

How time flies. To side track abit, Chloe was able to sing certain parts of the national athem! I was concentrating holding her little hands while riding up the escalator in the train station yesterday when she blurted out 'Majula S'pura...Majula S'pura!' Wow! I am impressed! & when asked who taught her how to sing the national anthem, Chloe replied: Teacher Monica.

Chloe's 2nd Hair Cut

Remember Chloe's 1st haircut at Junior League? She was a brave girl & did not cry a wee bit. Funny how today's hair cut session turned out to be quite a scare for her. Pete told me she was crying silently, eyes glistening with tears. Oh my poor girl, maybe it's a guy who is doing the cutting that made her so scared?

Daddy brought Chloe for a ride at East Coast after her haircut. She got tired & fell asleep with the breeze blowing.

Chloe finally smiled enjoying her Happy Meal.

Time Out

This is what Chloe gets for her misbehaviour. Funny thing is, while mummy is victorious in making her stay in the corner this time, Chloe fell asleep from protesting.
