OOps...was checking my folders & found these pictures taken during the Mooncake Festival.

This year Pete went alone to the Takashimaya Mooncake Fair to get the mooncakes. He got the Mini Snowskin Mooncakes from Si Chuan Court restaurant (Fairmount Hotel) for us & Four Seasons Durian Mooncake for mom in law.

Wow..I must say I love the mooncakes! These delicately packed masterpieces comes in an assortment of flavours like Strawberry & Dark Chocolate, Champagne Truffle, Rum & Raisin & Baileys Chocoate. They tasted heavenly.

As for Chloe, she tasted a bit of the mooncake without the alcohol part of cos. Gu Po also got her a cute Power Puff lantern. I detest the loud music though :P

The Wedding Of The Year - Tricia & Sam

backdated Post:

20th September 2008 marks the day my airen (Tricia) & Sam ties the knot. I've waited eagerly for this day to come. Yes I am quite worried she cant find OR won't find a partner!! She is quite picky!

I've known Tricia during our IRC days..10 years of friendship. As she was walking down the aisle, I could feel her happiness.

The wedding dinner was held at the Fairmount Hotel. Pete, Chloe & I were present for the solemnisation ceremony. Tricia was the most beautiful bride on that day, she looked radiant & happy. The speech by her was the most touching part of the entire evening. I was still rocking Chloe to sleep in my arms when Tricia delivered the speech. I was very touched by every word she said. I could hardly control my tears & they kept on pouring. In fact, I was quite embarrassed & conscious if anyone spotted me tearing.

I enjoyed the dinner tremendously as I was pleasantly surprised by the attendance of a few of my irc mates whom we used to chat online years ago.

Club Med Bintan (21-25 September 2008)

We are back finally. 5 days of fun & most important of all, bonding with my family & sister. It's a luxury, away from work & stress from our every day lives temporary. We had alot of fun doing the crazy dancing at the beach & bar area every day, racing & kicking ourselves crazy in the pool, waterpolo, yoga by the beach in the evening & stuffing ourselves with food, food & more food.

Restless Chloe (Part II)

Not much to write about what we've been up to during the weekends..the usual dinner outside...window shopping & all aside, my baby is still having poor appetite.

We did discover an ulcer at the right corner of her mouth on Saturday. This could be the main reason why my poor girl is not eating. She could be experiencing pain when food is consumed or when the bottle is in her mouth. Besides teething possibilities, Chloe did experience loose bowels on Saturday evening & this afternoon. I am quite worried & will have to monitor again. She is already not eating well & now diarrhoea? Sigh..

Restless Chloe

Chloe was sick since last Thursday. We suspected she might have caught a cold during the outing to the zoo. Her appetite is very bad this time. She would even refuse to drink milk & eat her favourite biscuits. Everything I coaxed her to eat, she will return with a no by shaking her head & showing no interest at all no matter how I tempt her. The irony is, she wants to take medication & will diligently lead me to the kitchen & point her medication to me. She is sleeping now...but I can hear how stuffy her nose is from her heavy breathing.
