Pete have always like travelling to Thailand. During my 3 months of maternity leave, he actually suggested to me about this short break. I was quite adament that I WILL NOT enjoy as I was breastfeeding Chloe then. I foresee lots of problems hunting for nursing room or any private room just to express breast milk! Poor hubby had to 'lun' with not having a holiday for the time being.
I guess his chance came when I finally gave up breastfeeding. After 2 weeks of internet search for nice resorts in Hua Hin, we finally geared up for this trip! Yes without our dear baby. Just 2 of us.
We departed by budget air (Tickets courtesy of my kind cousin hurray!) early on 11 Aug. 2 nights were spent at a nice newly renovated boutique hotel called BAIYOKE BOUTIQUE, it's located just behind the famed Baiyoke Sky Hotel.
Our main activities were of cos shopping, eating, shopping & more eating! We ventured again up to Bangkok's State Tower to enjoy the magnificent night view of Bangkok after our dinner at our favourite Somboon Seafood Restaurant. The Crab in Yellow Curry Powder still taste as yummy as the 1st time i sank my teeth on it!
On the 3rd day, we took a 3 hr bus ride to our long awaited stay at Veranda resort.

Outing with Great Granny & Po Po
Pete, Chloe & I met mummy & Po Po for lunch at Suntec City.
Chloe was cranky during feed. This could be due to her painful gums as mom in law suspects she might be teething. Nevertheless Chloe enjoys her outing very much. We brought her to the Esplanade. The place has changed quite abit since the last time I was there.
Here's little Chloe sitting on a baby chair in the boutique. She was laughing out loud when the sales girl played with her at the baby boutique. We bought her a bright red scarf hat & a sweet pink sweater at the shop. Doesn't she look like a HIP HOP BABY?
Chloe also sat on a bumper seat for the first time at Carrefour. She seemed to like sitting on it!

Godma loves Chloe
I am browsing thru a pile of photographs taken during my hospital stay at Thomson Medical & found this picture of my baby with her gan ma Tricia.
I can't believe I survived my 3 mths of confinement & juggling my full-time work at the same time now.
Time flies...I still do miss my breast feeding days though I have decided to stop due to my frequent bout of Mastitis. Chloe is coming 5 months soon. Not long after, she will have her first tooth & learn how to sit & crawl. I am waiting eagerly for her to pronounce her first MAMA to me & watch her hair grow long so I can personally put on her butterfly hair clip for her haha!
