An Afternoon @ Tampines Stadium

In order to lend our support to the poor little girl Charmaine (http://ourfeistyprincess.blogspot.com) who is down with a rare cancer, we decided to spend Sunday afternoon at the Tampines Stadium.

A fund raising event was set up by Singapore's soccer star Rafi Ali to help the family with the $500K medical bills.

Though I am not really a soccer fanatic, I do remember watching Rafi Ali, Fandi Ahmad, Abbaas Sadd, Steven Tan, Lim Tong Hai etc play in matches against states in Malaysia. Those were the Malaysian cup days. Somehow, I got excited over the matches that I even bought the New Paper almost daily just to catch up with the scores & upcoming matches. That was years ago..

Today, right at the stadium, I got to see the soccer stars back in action again (from afar though haha) & yet still raise fund for charmaine & spend time with my family.

I Love To Sing!

When Chloe is in a good mood she will start singing (sometimes screaming) out loud. Here, you see her singing to daddy to the tunes of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Shake Shake Shake (a hi-5 song) & 小毛驴.

Shake Shake Shake...

Chloe is a fan of hi-5, the Aussie children's singing & dancing sensation. She will bug me to let her watch the programs on weekends & after she got home from childcare.

This morning, we caught her singing & dancing to one of the tune's in hi-5!

My Mini Birthday Cake

Chloe got up real early today. Her tummy was not really well. In fact she had diarrhoea for 2 days already. I got so tired changing her diapers thrice since morning!

In order to keep Chloe occupied while I do some chores, I took out her Minnie Mouse fridge for her to play. Here you can see her singing the birthday song with her miniature birthday cake.

Fun @ The Zoo

Wednesday 24 June
We brought Chloe to the zoo again. The day was perfect except for the drizzle throughout our outing. I love it though cos it's cooling & breezy!

Waiting patiently for the bus..

@ The Polar Bear Feeding Session
The segment was great! Chloe's eyes were glued on the cute panda feeding on fishes & watermelons.

@ The Rainforest Show
Cheeeeese!

Swimming again @ SK Swimming Complex

Since the last trip, Chloe kept bugging us to bring her for a dip. She would get her swimming costume in her wardrobe & insists that I help her put on.

So, naturally we brought her there again today with home-made fried bee hoon & barley drink. Chloe was very excited as usual & in a very good mood. When we asked her if she knows where we were heading to, she will reply chirpily that we are going swimming.

Dinner @ Gu Po's House

Last night, we paid a visit to gu po at her place in Ang Mo Kio, the place that Chloe practically visited every day while I went to work before she attended childcare. Somehow, over the months from going to childcare & not visiting gu po often, Chloe is shy at gu po's place. She didn't want to call gu po initially, then she refused to let gu po hug her. But Chloe did find someone to play with now - Baby Sapphira or En En as everyone calls her. Baby Sapphira has a very cute nick name though..she is called PONG PONG (hokkien word for puffy). Chloe & En En are born 2 years apart & on the same day. So that makes En En a special cousin.

We had a hearty dinner at gu po's place with her famous soy sauce chicken. It taste so awesome, I cant find anywhere that sells better Si Yao Gai as compared to those made by my gu ma. Now I dun have the 'proof' to upload in this blog as I am too preoccupied with eating!!

Busy playing with my umbrella on the way to gu po's place.

Baby 'Pong Pong'
She is damm cute haha..look at her puffy cheeks!
