Japanese Salted Peas

Going to put these cute little peas in Chloe's dinner tonight. She has been very fussy about food these days, practically NOT finishing all the meals in school every day! This got me real worried for her.

She loves peas, hopefully I am successsful in coaxing her to eat these with some rice together with MIL's braised chicken with mushroom.

My Master Bedroom

I am so bored cooped up at home that I decided to whip out my camera & start taking pictures of my bedroom. Not quite the look I want to achieve..I've yet to put up family pictures around the house to give it a more family feel..urmm oh well I thought it's the neatest I can achieve after not cleaning up for a few days!

The bed Chloe loves to jump on every night.

My Dresser

Window area..with no cushions yet for the settee!

The Wardrobe

Get Well Soon

Fruit Basket & a get well card from my company..Chloe will be delighted to see so many apples & grapes after she gets home today.

Dreamin'

I would normally check on Chloe after she falls asleep every night on our bed fearing that she might fall over. Then, two nights ago, from her original 'vertical' position, we found her in this pose, propped up on a pillow one night...

Playing Doctor

We had gotten this Medical Trolley for Chloe more than a year back & hidden in the store room so that we can surprise Chloe with a new toy whenever she gets bored with her current ones.

Pete decided to fix this up for Chloe & she got all excited & busy pushing the trolley around the house.

Water Play With Daddy

Pete brought Chloe to the Seng Kang Swimming complex after her noon nap for a dip in the pool yesterday. The weather has been extremely unbearable recently. I can even feel perspiration trickling down my temples whilst sitting in the living room watching telly.

Chloe was quite terrified of the water splashing here n there & kept requesting for daddy to hold her hand while she was there. Gradually, she was able to walk up to the slide alone while daddy stood by at the end to catch her while she slides down.

It's Over ...

I went for my scheduled appointment with Doc Wong yesterday morning. Before the ultrasound, I was still hoping that baby will grow after I diligently took the hormone tabs. I started to sense something is not quite right when we still couldnt detect baby from the ultrasound. We had to do a V scan again to take a closer look.

Baby grew..but to a mere 1mm from the previous 4.9mm. What I realised soon was that there was no more heart beat..This got my tears flowing immediately while Doc Wong explained to me that baby need to be an even bigger size in order for the pregnancy to progress.

I tried to keep my mind as calm as possible while Doc Wong explained the procedures of the D&C to be done this Friday. I told Chloe before her bedtime that baby is not going to survive in mummy's tummy. I guess she doesn't understand, constantly telling me yes...& smiling innocently at me.

I am on medical leave this week. Hopefully I can take this time to bond more with Chloe n take my mind off work for the time being.
