Isn't this cute? Chloe loves to 'feed' me & Pete with these. I will demonstrate to Chloe how I cut up the fruits. She is so amazed by the sound made by the velco on the fruits that she will giggle out loud.

I'm So Worried ...
We just got back from dinner with Gong Gong when Chloe cried for attention & wanted to be carried. At that instant, I merely thought Chloe is throwing tantrums again. I went over to pacify her & removed her school pants at the same time, intending to bath her. What I saw gave me a shock.
Chloe's calves suffered some insect bites yesterday evening when we were out. We caught her scratching her legs & noticed the red bumps on her skin then. I applied tea tree after her bath for her when we got home. Little did I know that they had
become hard & swollen now. The skin around the bites is taut.
I did not wait any longer & carried Chloe to the GP immediately. The doc could not assure me that her condition will not get worse. All I was asked is to watch out & monitor her temperature & if the swollen part will get any worse. The doctor pressed hard on the area while distracting Chloe. She did not seem to cry from the pressure.
I hope for the best tonight & Chloe will have to go back for a review tomorrow morning.

Sunday In Town
We headed out early on Sunday morning to the Starhub roadshow held at Takashimaya. Pete & I were there to upgrade our handsets. There was a long queue with the festive promotions going on. Chloe was pretty grouchy from the humidity & kept bugging me to carry her. There you have it, a grouchy little 'Koala' sticking to me & tugging at my knitted top in the sweltering heat.
After all the hassle & time spent outdoors, we headed for aircon comfort & manage to catch a glimpse of Pooh & Friends in action. Chloe was running around excitedly & played hide & seek with me. She was oblivious to the crowd n even 'escaped' into one of the shops in order to run away from me!

We proceeded for lunch at Coffee Club & thereafter Chloe fell asleep almost immediately when I hug her in my arms. Shopping for me is nearly impossible. Everywhere you go, you are blocked with prams, people & more people. In fact, I hate to jossle with the crowd!
Looking thru the menu
Mummy...when is my lunch coming?

Yummy Cheesy Baked Rice & Garlic Prawn Pasta!

Pete & I decided to go for a coffee break at Spinelli while Chloe is asleep. Our free time was short lived. Chloe woke up from the noise of the street performance nearby.
The rest of the day was spent window shopping at Chinatown, (another fruitless try) while Chloe was sitted on her pram happily singing away. Dinner was early at a nearby coffeeshop & we headed to the outdoor area at Vivo city to end our day.

'VVIP' Guest
Today Pete has to stay back at work. Hence I spent my Saturday doing the laundry, vacuuming & mopping the floor. Naughty Chloe spilled my entire bottle of my make up remover on my laminate flooring! I had to make sure the floor is mopped so she would not slip & hurt herself.
In the late afternoon, we had a RARE GUEST. Sheryl Yi Yi & Didi Lucas will be paying us a visit. We would then proceed for dinner with Gong Gong & Ian Gor Gor & Yi Ma in the evening. Lucas being the baby of my OVERLY protective younger sister, was not himself whenever his mummy is out of sight. Needless to say, I spent the next 20 or 25 mins or so pacifying the poor boy who is crying nonstop when his mummy went down to get some groceries. No biscuits, Elmo song or toys can stop him from crying. Lucas wet the entire handkerchief with his tears & mucus! :P
Mmm Mmm love the sweet taste of my drink!
Waa Waaa..Lucas is crying for his mummy

Mummy, is this the VVIP you are referrring to?
Oh indeed... no wonder he looks so special to me

Hello Kitty Show
It's the time of the year when the school going children are on holidays. With the holiday season, the kids are spoilt for choice on where to go to see their favourite cartoon characters. There are Barney show, Pooh Bear & friends, Sesame Street show, Precious moments to name a few.
Pete & I brought Chloe to Junction 8 after work yesterday. There she sat & waited patiently for the Hello Kitty show to start. We also went for a photo taking session after the show. This time round, Chloe did not cry when posing with Hello Kitty & Daniel. She even said 'KITTY' & waved to them before leaving the stage.
