I wonder why babies are so intrigued by the sound of plastic bags. My girl simply loves to play with them! (Under my supervision of cos!) She'll grab & scrunch & put them in her mouth salivating at the same time.
*Humph!* Just this morning, while daddy is busy at work, little Chloe had a BIG..i mean HUGE dump! Her poo is so stinko that mummy has to change her IMMEDIATELY. Guess it's not mummy's day again. Notti Chloe flipped over almost immediately when mummy opens a new pack of wet wipes.
Needless to say, mummy had a hard time getting Chloe to lie still. Mummy ended up with poo on her palms & she was struggling with Chloe while on the way to the bathroom. Mummy has no choice but to give Chloe an early morning SHOWER.

Like Mom Like Daughter?
I've always got people telling me Chloe looks more like daddy but there's also a handful who commented that Chloe looks like me. Had fun playing this online look-alike meter. Here's the RESULTS haha!

Chloe is 6 mths old today!
My dear baby is exactly 6 months old today. 6 full months..WOW! I cannot believe I have come this far. From her 1st few moments of life in this earth when she made her first cry in the hospital ward, to the days I was breastfeeding her till now when she can say her ahhs & giggle out loud when daddy tickles her. Chloe is our little miracle.
This past 3 days, mummy is worried though. Little Chloe has a runny nose & a slight cough. Mummy's little girl is very cranky especially during feed & sleep time. Her appetite was not quite her usual , she will fuss & cry quite badly. No pacifier can calm her, no amount of milk can make her smile. Mummy is dreading & images of Chloe's past bout of bronchiolitis flashed in her mind. Only when mummy & daddy carries Chloe will she stop crying temporary. Mummy & Daddy are wondering if she is now teething, hence the discomfort. We are monitoring her developments & hope she can be her usual smiley self again.

SPLISH SPLASH!

I was bathing Chloe today when I noticed that she can actually sit quite still & holding the bath tub for support. Chloe loves bath time. She will be happily kicking her chubby legs in the water. Hopefully Chloe can have a dip in the swimming pool real soon when mummy buys her a cute bikini!

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!!
Mummy is going to let Chloe try some REAL food soon. It's going to be Chloe's first solid food experience other than the RICE CEREAL Chloe has tried so far.
Items mummy intend to let Chloe try are: apples, sweet potatos, bananas, avocadoes & pumpkin. Mummy is going to be busy preparing more food items for Chloe in time to come. Perhaps the Braun blender mummy has kept hidden in the storeroom since she has it can come to good use now.
Mummy is going to introduce to Chloe to the different food 'groups' over a short span of 4 days for each new food item. This is to ensure mummy can pinpoint the particular food item that Chloe might be allergic to. For a start, these food should be thin or pureed that are more easily digested for a small tummy.
Mummy is hoping Chloe will react well & most importantly enjoy the different taste & texture of the food in her meal!

Visit to the Polyclinic
Early this morning, Chloe & her daddy reported at the Polyclinic for her 3rd DPT jab. Mummy is glad to learn that her dear darling has grown by 0.3kg for the past 1 mth. Chloe is now 6.6kg. Little Chloe is slightly taller at 65cm today. In 5 days time, Chloe would be 6 months old. How time flies!

Mummy's Agony
Sigh sigh..Chloe dun seem to like drinking water. Everytime I give her the bottle, she will fuss & spit the teat out. When I force Chloe to drink more, she will start to struggle from my grasp. HELP!! It's a totally different reaction when she is holding a bottle of MILK!
I was told to feed with spoon, add abit of Gripe water (with sugar???), no matter how Chloe dun seem to be drinking enough :( I am worried....
Perhaps it's due to mummy not drinking enough water herself when she was preggy with little Chloe? I am cracking my head on how to encourage her to want to drink water as her formula milk seems to be causing some constipation . Well..guess I'll have to be patient & instill the habit step by step.
